Grade Four Students,
We are excited to meet with you at 10:00 on June 12, 2020. As you transition to your new school, we want to give you an opportunity to learn about our school, our teachers, our programs, and the many offerings that we have waiting for you here at Old Saybrook Middle School. Our goal is to make the transition go as smoothly as possible for you. You have already submitted questions that our team of grade 5 teachers are prepared to answer for you. The 8th grade class has also made a PowerPoint that will be shared to show you what a typical day at OSMS will look like for you. They have also included a virtual tour so you can become familiar with the various parts of the building.
The easiest way to participate in our Google Meet is to use your school account to log in. The Google Meet system is aligned to all Old Saybrook Public Schools accounts and you have probably been using them with your grade four teachers. You can find the directions below to access the meeting using your account.

Directions to join our OSMS grade 5 meeting.
1. Open Google Suite
2. Find the Google Meet or Hangout icon
3. Open Google Meet and click on Join Meeting
4. Enter GRADE5 in the box. (That is the code to let you access our meeting)
5. You will be able to join. Allow camera and microphone so you can be seen and heard. If you have no camera, you can join with just audio. Please mute until the teachers direct you to unmute your mics.
