Good Afternoon OSMS Families,
This week at OSMS, there have been no new positive cases in our building. We expect all classes to be back in the building next week. See a few additional updates and information below.
• As the weather gets colder, we want to remind parents to send their children to school with appropriate outerwear. We will continue to go outside in the cold and rain to walk to class. We will also go to recess, even on cold days. Please be sure students have a warm coat, gloves, hats, and umbrellas as needed.
• We are coming to the end of the trimester, and many students have missing work. When students are absent from school, it is their responsibility to see the teacher to get caught up. Please have your child check PowerSchool and check in with the teacher if they are missing assignments. We need your help.
• Our November PTO meeting will be held this Monday, November 16, at 7:00 pm, virtually. You can find the PTO agenda at the bottom of this email. Directions to join our OSMS PTO meeting- You must use a google account. We suggest that you can use your child’s device to access Google. Your child can show you how to complete the following steps:
1. Open Google Suite
2. Find the Google Meet or Hangout icon
3. Open Google Meet and click on Join Meeting
4. Enter code: OSMSPTO
• The school raised $126.87 for Unicef. Thank you for your support.
• Please continue to remind students about the importance of wearing their masks and social distancing. We want students to stay in school. For this to happen, we all need to follow the protocols. Modeling mask-wearing and social distancing in the community will help them understand it’s importance. Please help us stay open.

Esta semana en OSMS, no ha habido nuevos casos positivos en nuestro edificio. Esperamos que todas las clases vuelvan al edificio la semana que viene. Vea algunas actualizaciones e información adicionales a continuación.
