A few quick updates.
No new Covid cases this week affecting the middle school. Yay.
The PTO Meeting scheduled for Monday has been canceled. The February date will be moved to align a time with the superintendent to review the budget. More information to come.
Please remember that unless a student is quarantined or is a distance learner, students are considered absent. Distance learning is only intended for longer periods of time and requires notification to the principal prior to starting distance learning. If the teacher is online, students are welcome to join classes remotely when absent to keep up with classwork, but they are still considered absent.
We are working with the photographer to put in place safety protocols to allow us to have a picture day. We should have more information for you soon.
I would like to thank you all again for your care in keeping students home when they are sick. Your decisions have helped keep the school open.

Algunas actualizaciones rápidas. No hay nuevos casos de Covid esta semana que afecten a la escuela secundaria. Hurra. La reunión de PTO programada para el lunes ha sido cancelado. La fecha de febrero se cambiará para alinear un tiempo con el superintendente para revisar el presupuesto. Más información próximamente.
Por favor recuerde que a menos que un estudiante esté en cuarentena o sea un estudiante a distancia, los estudiantes se consideran ausentes. El aprendizaje a distancia solo está diseñado para períodos más largos y requiere notificación al director antes de comenzar el aprendizaje a distancia. Si el maestro está en línea, los estudiantes pueden unirse a clases de forma remota cuando están ausentes para mantenerse al día con el trabajo de clase, pero aún se consideran ausentes. Estamos trabajando con el fotógrafo para implementar protocolos de seguridad que nos permitan tener un día de fotos. Pronto tendremos más información para usted.
Me gustaría agradecerles a todos nuevamente por su cuidado al mantener a los estudiantes en casa cuando están enfermos. Tus decisiones han ayudado a mantener abierta la escuela.
