Good Afternoon OSMS Families,
Covid: We have not had any covid cases since our last email, but we have had an uptick these last two weeks, particularly in grade 8. If your child is showing any symptoms of covid, please keep them home and test them. We still have tests available at the school if you need any. We strongly recommend masks.
Mental Health Awareness Month Outreach Event: This event is free and open to all CT residents. Please see the attached flyer.

Student Dress: As spring returns, we just want to remind everyone about a few aspects of the dress code that we have been addressing with students. Students are expected to have their abdomens covered and only legs can be exposed in shorts or skirts. Students may not wear clothing with alcohol or drug references. Please remind students about the expected attire for school. You can review the entire dress code policy on the district website.
The Musical: The musical will take place Thursday and Friday next week. Our students will be performing Newsies Jr. We will need to limit the number of guests due to covid to allow for social distancing. Students in the musical had the first opportunity to purchase tickets. The remaining tickets will be sold in the main office starting Tuesday. We strongly encourage masking at the event.
