We had an aMAZEing time on our Unified trip to Bishops' corn maze!

Unified sports carved pumpkins donated from Old Saybrook Walmart. Manager Mike from Walmart came to carve with us and even brought mini candles to put in our finished pumpkins. Thank you Old Saybrook Walmart for a great event!

Today was the annual OSMS Kickball Tournament! The championship between the 7th and 8th grade was a hard-fought battle, but this year's winner is.......... THE 8TH GRADE!

Congratulations to our 8th Graders on a 2-1 victory.

Day 2 at OSMS, and we are still smiling (mostly).

The newest Old Saybrook Team Store is now open. The store will remain open until August 27th. Orders will be shipped directly to the customer. Any questions regarding the team store, products or delivery should be sent directly to Stadium Systems. Go Rams!

Celebrate Saybrook is coming! The street party of the year will be on Sunday, June 22, from 1:30-6:00 PM!

Yesterday, Old Saybrook Middle School had an assembly by eighth grader Keira O’Donnell on teen anxiety and social media. A big thank you to Keira for presenting on this incredibly important topic.

Congratulations to our OSMS Rams on a great 2025 baseball season. The boys wrapped up the year with a win against Portland.

Old Saybrook Families, Due to an accident on Main Street, buses may be delayed this afternoon. None of our buses were involved in the accident, and all students are safe. Have a nice long weekend!

Last night, we honored our two CAS Scholar Leader recipients at the Aqua Turf. Keira O'Donnell and Nadia Roslonek are positive leaders in our school. They both show courage, determination, and kindness in all they do. We are so proud of them both.

Friday was the big Talent Show!!! We are so proud of our students for their courage and talent!

Today, our 6th-grade students got an opportunity to hear from local author and Old Saybrook Public Schools employee, Trent Gerbers, on the importance of revising and editing their work. Mr. Gerbers gave a short presentation on the editing process, and then he worked individually with several students to help them improve their own pieces.

Today we were fortunate to have Old Saybrook's own Trent Gerbers join us for a Writer's Workshop in grade 6. Trent brought his published novel to show us and talked students through the steps of the writing and revising process. He also spent time conferring with students to help them brainstorm and improve their own memoirs. It was a great and rich experience. Thank you, Trent!

Thursday's Choral Concert was a great success. We are so proud of our students for their musical abilities and their work to protect our waters.
