Good morning,
We are getting closer and closer to the start of school. Student placement letters and 2023-24 welcome packets will be mailed to all families who have completed PowerSchool re-enrollment, tomorrow, August 11th. If you have not completed re-enrollment, please do so ASAP so we can send home your student’s packet. Please understand that many considerations are made when developing class placements and we will not be able to honor requests, but we have supportive staff that will continue to help students develop friendships and navigate the social learning of middle school throughout the year.
A few dates to remember:
- Grade 5 student drop-in will take place August 29th from 1-2. Fifth grade students are welcome to come in and meet their teachers and see their classrooms.
- August 30th is the First Day of School. We will see you at 7:50am!
- Weather permitting, Friday September 1st will be a school-wide kickball tournament. Students should dress accordingly.
- Summer learning is due by September 8th.
- OSMS Open House will take place the evening of September 7th. More details to come.
