Old Saybrook Middle School

Mr. Scott Azevedo is in his second year teaching art. He grew up in Huntersville, North Carolina, before moving to California during his 4th grade year. He has lived in Sonoma and Napa for the last 20 years, before moving to Connecticut to pursue graduate school! He holds two art degrees from Sacramento State University, a BFA in painting, and a BA in art history. He has always been an artist first! As a young student,  he constantly doodled in class and was a bit of a daydreamer. (He apologizes to his teachers.) Prior to going back to school, he has been commissioned to paint a few bottle labels, many commissions, eventually, selling countless large scale landscapes for many years throughout Sonoma County. Currently, he's very happy being the interim art teacher here at OSMS and OSHS. While here, he hopes to inspire his art students by sharing his art, knowledge, and artwork!
