Today, the grade 5 math teachers launched a very exciting math project that the students will be working on throughout the year called Main Street Math. Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Conti, and Ms. St.Germain explained the project to the students in a big reveal. The teachers will be sharing more about the activities and learning as the year progresses, and at the end of the year inviting grade 5 families and community members to see their "Main Street" filled with a variety of "businesses," showcasing different math skills that the students worked on throughout the year. This project includes community connections, real-world learning, and 21st century skills.
