Today, the Old Saybrook School community had the opportunity to celebrate our veterans. A breakfast was provided at the middle school followed by an assembly with performances by the grade 4 chorus and the high school band. OSHS graduate, Cadet Alyssa Parker of the Coast Guard spoke to the students and the veterans about how the Old Saybrook community helped shape her into the person she is today. At the green, the town continued the celebration with members of the community and all three schools. We would all like to thank the veterans for their service and say Happy Veteran's Day.
